Toncoin (TON) Listed on Robinhood Ahead of Coinbase
Robinhood just listed Toncoin ($TON) for U.S. traders, beating Coinbase to the punch. Given TON's deep ties to Telegram's 900 million+ user base, is it really a game-changer, or just another coin getting temporary hype?

Hype is needed if we want to be considered serious
Robinhood’s listing of $TON is definitely a big deal for adoption in the US, since it gives millions of retail users easy access—but so far, Binance and Coinbase still dominate global volume and liquidity. Robinhood would definitely attract a whole bunch of new retail users, which means it could bring a lot of attention to $TON and encourage its daily use, and this is likely for Americans who haven’t engaged with Binance yet.
I'm a bit confused, I thought Telegram's original crypto project (Gram) was shut down by the SEC. Is Toncoin the same thing, or is this something new? It seems risky if it has a history of regulatory issues.
